Description & History
1930's Era Superbritte from Paul Scholberg. This extremely unique shotgun is easily identified by it's horizontal opening action developed by Thoephile Britte in 1931.
Overall the gun presents in excellent condition for it's age. The stock and forend show some scattered handling marks throughout, but nothing significant. The gun features a long tang, fully engraved trigger guard and receiver with small gold accents. Receiver features light scrollwork engraving with subtle game scene elements.
The stock and forend are both checkered in a skip line pattern, with a matching checkered wooden butt.
