On consignment in our San Antonio store we are pleased to offer this fantastically engraved Perugini & Visini Maestro. Master Engraver Max Gobbi has executed a classic game scene engraving depicting Ring Neck pheasants throughout. Starting with the bottom of the receiver Mr. Gobbi has our Ringneck beneath a tree watching over his hen. You want to look closely as he has masterfully blended her into what would appear to be floral scroll. I find his image of the Ringneck on the trigger guard to be exceptional with the fowl staring confidently into your eyes. The left side has our pheasant in flight and possibly settling in among his breather at the hinge pin. On the right-hand side, we see Mr. Ringneck in full flight and at speed. Again, we find a pheasant at the hinge pin. The top lever is skeletonized and within its thumb contact pad we don’t find the standard floral pattern, we find the silhouette of a ringnecks head and then it to is engraved in exquisite detail. The exhibition grade walnut stock is hand rubbed oil finish. The barrels on this shotgun are 32” long, the excellent bore is 18.4 and with the extra-long forcing cones felt recoil will be minimal. The gun will ship with 3 Briley flush fit chokes, one each in the following constrictions, 1 Imp Mod, Mod, Light Mod, there are two additional Beretta chokes Imp Cyl and Modified. This is an inertia trigger mechanism. The trigger assembly is removeable for ease of cleaning and to allow the user to replace the springs.
