Gunsmithing Services

NOTE: So that we may assist you in the most efficient possible manner, we recommend that you call or email us to discuss the work you wish to have done prior to shipping. We have expanded our operations to two shops and each specializes in different operations; we want to direct your job to the appropriate location and advise you of the approximate costs and estimated turnaround times before you ship your gun. You will then be directed to our online work order so that you can include all pertinent information with your shipment and we will be aware that it is on the way!

Cole Gunsmithing employs FIVE gunsmiths; each of whom have one or more specialties within the trade. See our list of services below for the variety of services we offer, including mechanical repair, stock modification and stock making, refinishing, some restoration, bluing and custom builds.

Rich Cole has been working on fine shotguns for over forty years and has a well- trained team of technicians delivering the highest quality gunsmithing service.

We are one of only four (4) Beretta Warranty Service Centers in the USA and are well-versed in the general service of Perazzi and other fine Italian Shotguns. We now have two full- time and one part time facility offering best-quality gunsmithing services; Naples, Florida, the original shop in Harpswell, Maine and the National Shooting Complex in San Antonio where we have a full time retail shop and gunsmithing during several events throughout the year . All shops are equipped with high-quality machinery and tooling.  Semi auto repairs and hot bluing are specific to our Maine location and jobs specific to Florida include SO repairs, and Custom stock work. It is a good idea to call before sending work to discuss turn around times and best place to send work.

The gunsmithing trade is highly specialized and no one can be 'expert' in every facet; therefore, at times we will refer customers with certain jobs to others in the trade that may specialize in their specific need. We are glad to do this in order to provide our customers access to the best possible skills and service available. We ask that you please Submit the Work Order for Gunsmithing Services along with A NON-REFUNDABLE HANDLING AND ADMINISTRATIVE FEE OF $25.00. If you do not wish to pay this fee online, understand that you will be charged the fee when your gun is returned to you.
